“When I visited JRC, I took a tour and I said it’s a fun place, it’s fun. I made the choice that I wanted to go here. I say, if your parent will let you choose it, choose JRC.”
Near the end of his tenure at JRC, David celebrated a full year of passing his behavioral contracts, with no major inappropriate behaviors. He held two jobs in the local community and looks forward to starting community college soon.
“I had a really rough relationship with my mom. After freshman year of high school it started getting bad and I was failing all my classes. JRC taught me a lot of self-control. Me and my mom’s relationship is now like the best. It’s not even that it’s better, it’s like the best.”
